The girls cross country team crossed the finish line of their first two races strong, taking first place at both. The team shows “more spirit, drive, and work ethic than ever,” said senior captain Angela Koerber. The team looks forward to pushing to the next level, breaking personal records, and aiming to win Shorelines and the Class SS State Championships. “All varsity runners are crucial to the team’s success because the top five runners’ scores of the meets are added together to make up the overall score,” Koerber said. The varsity runners are Samantha Drop, Allison Alsup, Samantha Vigue, Ashley Dana, Adriana Wimler, Kate Schulten, and Aubrey Figoris.
