Yet again, the Community Round-Up was an enormous success in 2016. Collecting over 14,000 individual food items and over $3,300 in cash and gift cards, the drive proved to be remarkably beneficial to both Durham and Middlefield Social Services as well as the Amazing Grace Food Pantry. The annual event not only puts food on the tables of those who need it most but brings the community together to participate in an inspiring and exciting act of service.
A special thanks goes out to all of the people who make this event possible each year, including Lynn Schofield, Bridgette Schlicker, Sharon Rogers, Greg Morrone, Anne Doyle, Samantha Grayeck, Carole Sibiskie, Bronwyn Commins, Cassie Montepara, Sean Regan, Kathleen Davidson and Wilda Castro. And of course, this event is nothing without the generous people of Durham and Middlefield taking time out of their Saturday to help others.
