D1 Times Two…Times Two

D1+Times+Two...Times+Two

Four Coginchaug student-athletes signed their letters of intent to Division I college sports programs on Tuesday, Nov. 17 in the CRHS library. Seniors Karen DeFilippo and Michelle DeFilippo signed with the Quinnipiac University tumbling and acrobatics team in Hamden, Connecticut while seniors Jessica Drop and Samantha Drop committed to the University of Georgia women’s track team in Athens, Georgia. The twins were accompanied by parents Pamela DeFilippo and Daniel and Anne Drop respectively.

“All of these athletes have demonstrated outstanding athletic careers while attending Coginchaug Regional High School,” according to the Coginchaug Athletic Department press release. “The Coginchaug community wishes them the best of luck as they on with their athletic and academic careers.”
