Demarie is a senior from Durham who has lived there her whole life. She is a part of school council, class council as senior class secretary, the French Honor Society, and the Athletic Leadership Council. She reports to the Board of Education once a month as a liaison between Coginchaug and the BOE. She is a student-athlete and participated in volleyball from freshman to senior year, softball from freshman to sophomore year and tennis from junior to senior year. As a senior, Demarie was named co-captian of the volleyball and tennis teams. She became involved with Devil’s Advocate in her senior year. Demarie’s favorite topics to cover are sports, community events and senior happenings.
